I have been a Christmas card making fool lately....thought I would share some of my latest cards with you...as well as a pic of my very messy kitchen table - hehe

Been busy making Christmas cards (and even busier making a mess out of my kitchen - hehe). Thought I would share some of my latest cards with you :)

I just LOVE those Sizzix machines!!! lol

I have wanted a die cutting machine for just about forever. Michael's was having a 40% off sale on all their Sizzix products, so I caved and bought me one ... and some dies too :) Sales are so great! I can't wait to start using it!!!! Woo hoo. I am in craft heaven :)

I will be off from work for 2 weeks starting next week, because I am having foot surgery. So hopefully, I will be able to make some more freebies :) I have been busy with other projects, and Photoshop has taken a bit of a backseat to everything else. But I hope to have something new soon.

CU Animal Brushes Freebie

I have made a set of 10 PS animal brushes (to go along with the animal alpha I made a while back). Also included are the .PNG files, so you can use them on other programs if you don't use Photoshop. They are fine for Commercial, Personal, Freebie, and S4H/S4O. No credit required (of course, if you want to give me credit, go right ahead - lol).

Animal Alpha freebie

Hey everybody. I made my first alpha tonite. I hope you like it. This is an animal style alpha with a glitter border. Each letter is a separate .png file. I have included only the caps in this alpha. I may make the numbers to go along with it another nite. This alpha is for personal use and is also S4H/S4O friendly.

CU Patriotic Felt PS Layer Styles

I figured out how to make layer styles in Photoshop - woo hoo. So I whipped these up for everyone to enjoy.

Another CU freebie

Wow. It is almost July already. And knowing that the 4th is almost here, I created a little freebie on honor of the holiday. This is a PS .pat file of 3 felt patterns, in, you guessed it, red, white and blue.

I had intended on trying to make layer styles out of these, but I didn't know how - lol. If anyone knows of a good tutorial on making PS layer styles, please point me in that direction - lol. In the meantime, you can enjoy these.

CU Overlay Freebie

I am back. I know I am not the most faithful blogger (lol), but I am back with a freebie. This is my first attempt at making an overlay. It is just a simple one I did of a photo of clouds I took a while back. Hope you all like it!

I have yet another freebie for everyone. I learned how to create custom shapes out of my own doodles, so I created a set of 10 flower doodle shapes for everyone. Since these are my own drawings, they are fine for personal and commercial use. I have tons more drawings that I plan to convert to shapes and brushes in the future, so be on the watch for them.

I have been MIA for a long while. No real excuse other than vacation, being sick and just being tired - lol. I did do a new layout tonite. I had tons of files to unzip and it took FOREVER to do it. So finally, I have time to do layouts again.

Thanks for all the nice comments I got on my last freebie post. I really appreciate all the nice words :) I made a cute little New Year's penguin on Photoshop CS last night. Here is a little preview....






His original size is 660x1130 pixels, but can easily be resized. You can use him on your New Year's layouts, since 2007 is fast approaching! All I ask is to be credited (as Kimberly Perkins or Kimberzy) if you use him on a layout that you post in a gallery, etc.

There is also a smaller version which you can personalize with your name and use as a Myspace tag or for emails or just about whatever you want.
